Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Foundations Vitamins+ — the peri-procedural cosmeceutical drink designed to help your body do its part.

What is Foundations Vitamins+?

Foundations Vitamins+ is a sachet-based drink mix formulated to support your body before and after regenerative aesthetic treatments — like laser resurfacing, biostimulators, and microneedling. Each unit contains a 28-day supply, mixed into water once daily as part of your treatment protocol.

It was created by a Board Certified PA-C and refined with a physician formulation partner, built specifically to complement — not replace — the procedures your provider is already performing.

How does it work? What is "biological preparedness"?

Even a perfectly executed procedure depends on something the treatment itself can't control: whether your body has what it needs to repair, rebuild, and respond. We call this gap between the procedural stimulus and your body's ability to capitalize on it the preparation gap.

Foundations Vitamins+ is formulated with targeted nutrients that support the biological processes involved in tissue repair, collagen synthesis, hydration, and pigment stability — helping close that gap so the treatment you invested in has the internal support it needs to produce its intended result.

Foundations Vitamins+ is a dietary supplement. It is intended to support your body's natural processes and is not a treatment, drug, or cure for any disease or condition.

How much does it cost?

Foundations Vitamins+ has a manufacturers suggested retail price of $149 for a full 28-sachet unit (one complete protocol cycle). It's available exclusively through your treating provider — ask your practice about adding it to your treatment plan.

When should I start taking it before a procedure, and how long after?

The standard protocol is 1 weeks before your procedure and 3 weeks after — one sachet daily, which lines up with the 28-sachet unit. Your provider may adjust timing based on your specific treatment and goals, so always follow the protocol they recommend for you.

Is it safe to take with GLP-1 medications?

GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide or tirzepatide) can reduce overall caloric and nutrient intake, which may affect the body's resources for tissue repair during recovery. In our clinical research, participants taking GLP-1 medications who also used Foundations Vitamins+ showed more consistent, predictable healing patterns compared to what's typically expected in this group, and no serious adverse events were reported in the study.

That said, everyone's health picture is different. If you're on a GLP-1 medication or any other prescription, talk to your provider before starting Foundations Vitamins+ so they can confirm it's right for you.

Who formulated it? What's the clinical basis?

Foundations Vitamins+ was created by a Board Certified PA-C and medical spa owner, and the formula was finalized in partnership with a physician advisory board member who specializes in regenerative aesthetics.

The product has been evaluated in a clinical study examining recovery following regenerative treatment, looking at outcomes such as skin texture, hydration recovery, and pigment stability. Results from that research have been submitted for peer-reviewed publication. Ask your provider for more detail on the clinical data behind the formula.

Is it available direct-to-consumer, or through a provider only?

Foundations Vitamins+ is available exclusively through licensed providers — it isn't sold direct-to-consumer. This keeps it tied to your actual treatment plan, so your protocol timing and dosage are guided by the practice performing your procedure. Ask your provider if they carry Foundations Vitamins+, or find a participating provider near you.
